I work in the field of automotive sales and leasing for a large car dealership located in Utah. Recently I was involved in a collision while driving a company car for the dealership that I work for. The accident was declared my fault because I rear ended someone and all rear end collisions are considered to be at fault to the person in the rear.

As a result of my crash I was terminated from my job and the employer is really out to get me by letting everyone know how dumb I was for wrecking one of their cars. Finding automotive jobs are not real hard, unless you have an employer that slanders you to everyone he talks with.

Can I do anything about this as far as compensation for missed work opportunities because he is saying such bad things about me?
